Dania
Lofton
One of Dania’s fundamental guiding principles is, “Knowledge is essential for change and growth. Civic education and engagement empowers citizens to hold themselves and their representatives accountable." As the daughter of a first responder, Dania was introduced to public service at an early age, which inspired her to pursue a legal education to help vulnerable populations.
During her internship with the Department of Justice (DoJ), Dania learned about various policies in Maryland and D.C. that impacted the public safety and wellbeing of citizens. The experience further inspired her to return to work on legislation and policies to protect citizens. Dania is an active advocate, who is always engaging, educating, and empowering people to advocate for issues important to them.
